Johannes Litschauer, Managing Director of EBCONT, is proud of the clear statement to the Viennese night: “We are a family company and, with our more than 600 employees, unite many cultures and diversities. Also this year we want to send a visible sign of solidarity with the global LGBTQ+ community during Pride Month. It is the time that for many people symbolizes hope for a colourful, diverse world without hate and discrimination“, and he also motivates other tenants of the tower: “It would be great if an even bigger rainbow on one of Vienna’s icons, the Millennium Tower, could become possible if other leased companies from the Tower would also join.”
The clear and widely visible sign of EBCONT is accompanied by a colourful LGBTIQ+ program. As a partner of Pride Biz Austria, the association for promoting the inclusion of sexual diversity in business and the world of work, the IT company was a guest at the Pride Biz Lounge and the AGRPO (Austrian Gay Professionals) Business Lounge and was able to present the planned activities.
For example, a PRIDE@EBCONT breakfast with company-internal initiators on the topic of “drag” and “women: lesbian at work, privately and as a mother” will be organized. Moreover the Austrian family business is offering its colleagues a variety of internal and external activities, goodies, participation in the Pride Run and much more. A company survey aims to bring more clarity to Ally’s and more visibility and understanding for EBCONT’s LGBTQ+ people. The campaign is rounded off in the EBCONT social media channels featuring important insights to the topic.
